Terms of service, per 2010-10-19Agreement
This is an agreement between Nidelven IT Ltd and the customer
regarding cooperation between the two entities.
Each party shall not disclose confidential information to any third
party. Each receiving party shall treat confidential information with
the same degree of care as it treats information of its own which it
would not wish to be disclosed.
Backups are made on a regular basis (around every 2-3 days) and in
periods stored in a separate, long-time storage. Backups older than
one week can be available, but Nidelven IT Ltd does not make any
promises that they are.
Every week, backups are taken to an off-site location (another
physical location, in case of fire, acts of god etc).
Restoration from backups are subject to consulting fees, where it
typically takes 1-2 hours to restore an account.
Nidelven IT Ltd might pack the customers' Zope database(s), to keep
disk usage down. If the customer does not wish to have the database
automatically packed, the customer must notify Nidelven IT Ltd.
Log rotation / deletion
Nidelven IT Ltd might delete log files seen as unecessary, for
example, but not limited to, Zope's Z2 and event log files to free
up disk space / reduce disk space. If the customer does not wish
log files like these be deleted, they must notify Nidelven IT Ltd.
Most domains are registered through Domainnameshop, an accredited
registrar of ICANN and EURid. When paying for a .no .se .dk .is
.be .co.uk .eu .me .us .cn .tw .com/.org/.net/.biz/.name .info
.mobi .as .cc .tv domain through us, you agree to abide by the
terms of service provided by Domeneshop:
It is required that the customer gives notice of cancellation at
least 6 months in advance of when the customer wants the service
For example, if the customer pays a 1 year advance on hosting,
and cancels immediately, the service(s) will run for another 6
months and the remaining 6 months will be refunded. Any bank
(wire) transfer fees or similar required to give the customer
a refund will be deducted from the refund.
Payments for domain services and SSL certificates will not be
refunded, as Nidelven IT Ltd also pays for these on a yearly basis.
Server solutions are often subject to at least a 12 month commitment
Nidelven IT Ltd must notify the customer at least 3 months in
advance, if a hosting service provided for the customer by Nidelven
IT Ltd will be discontinued due to re-organization in Nidelven IT
Ltds services. Any bank (wire) transfer fees to refund payments for
discontinued services will be covered by Nidelven IT Ltd.
Nidelven IT Ltd retains all rights to software developed when
consulting, and licenses it to the customer under the GPL license,
We believe this is a practical approach to software licensing, as the
customer gets freedom to use the software in many ways, while we
can re-use the software developed.
Any software developed by Nidelven IT Ltd as a part of services sold
to customers should be considered proprietary unless otherwise
Nidelven IT Ltd retains all rights to documentation created, and
licenses it to the customer under the Creative Commons By license:
Use of Nidelven IT Ltds services
If Nidelven IT Ltd finds that their services have been used to abuse
others, by spamming or otherwise harassing other netizens, Nidelven IT
Ltd reserves the right to cancel the account and not make any refunds.

LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF
USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND
ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY,
OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT
OF THE USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
