How to choose
We used to do hosting, but that has now been taken over by our partners over at Copyleft. They provide the same packages we used to offer, and have also/will improve the services.
If you're wondering about which hosting package you should choose, let us give you a quick primer.
The Standard hosting package is cheapest and on a shared Zope instance. At any given time we run several shared instances of Zope, to keep older customers running on versions of products they don't need to upgrade. Most of our customers choose Plone for their website, and if you want to run Plone on one of our Standard accounts, we strongly recommend starting with a fresh site from our servers. Porting an existing Plone site to a Standard account is hard to do and time-consuming (expensive). If you have an existing Plone site, we recommend the Webmaster package where you can just copy over python files and the database without any import/export and version problems.
The Plus and Webmaster packages include a SSH login and your very own Zope instance, where you have complete control over the entire database, as well as the products installed. The main difference between Plus and Webmaster is the amount of memory you have (Webmaster having about 50-66% more memory) and you are able to host more websites on the Webmaster package than on Plus. If you're going to run Plone on your instance, we recommend the Webmaster package, as it has enough memory for Plone to run efficiently.
For even larger needs, we provide managed servers, some of which are virtual servers running Xen, and the largest which are dedicated server solutions. Customers with high bandwidth/CPU/Memory needs or the need to have root access should consider a managed server.
